I highly recommend J.Selby Photography. She has a detailed plan for how to prepare your newborn for your session, but beyond that she has spent years learning baby cues and developing her baby techniques to soothe, swaddle and comfort which makes for a relaxing newborn session for mom and dad. She is also great at getting the attention of big kids, even in a distracting home environment and helping them feel special throughout the process. I really love our home sessions she captured, so many images I will cherish forever. She is incredibly patient, professional and personable. I have recommended J. Selby photography to all of my family and friends and everyone that has worked with her have shared the same great experience.

My newborn photographer cancelled on me when my baby was 4 days old and I was frantic to find someone that was available with In one week. Jackie to the rescue! She was more than willing to take us on last minute and was very flexible with times that worked for us. One of my favorite things about our newborn session was the fact that she brought ALL the accessories. It was such a weight lifted off me as a mom of a newborn and two other kids when I found out that I didn’t have to frantically try put together looks and have all the right baskets, swaddles, hair pieces, etc. Our pictures turned out flawless even with a two year old sister who wanted nothing to do with it and a fussy newborn.

Working with Jackie for senior pictures was so fun!! Not only was J. Selby Photography really professional, but we had a blast taking pictures!!! We used various props and Jackie was super creative with how to use them in a cool, vintage style that portrays to my personality. I am a senior model and was nervous at first because I had never modeled before and I wasn't sure what was expected of me, but Jackie didn't make it stressful at all! In addition to taking amazing photos we had a few laughs as well!! I was really comfortable taking photos AS SOON as we started shooting!! Working with Jackie for maternity photos was a great experience. She was very prompt with all communication and went out of her way to give us some reassurance from planning to the actual session. During the session, Jackie made sure we were comfortable and individualized the session for us. It never felt like the pictures we were taking were from a "standard" list of shots. If she mentions her husband coming along for assistance, have no fear. He's great for comic relief!

It was very relaxing and stress free working with Jackie and her husband at J.Selby Photography during our maternity shoot for our twin girls.
